// HOW IT WORKS
How it works
A queue for defences: everyone starts at the same known time, you pick your own number, and questions from past defences are collected in one place.
One queue per class
Every class with a defence has its own queue with numbers 1–30. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday are separate queues: you sign up for a specific class.
When sign-up opens
Each class's list opens the evening before at 21:00 Almaty time: the Tuesday class on Monday at 21:00, Friday on Thursday at 21:00, Saturday on Friday at 21:00. The bot warns 10 minutes before and posts when it opens. From 21:00 to 21:30 the group chat is for the queue only — the bot deletes other messages.
Picking a number
Pick any free number from 1 to 30: on the board in the group chat, with /take, or here on the site. Whoever taps a number first gets it. /take cc 8 takes #8 directly. Other commands: /q shows the queues, /leave cc leaves, /done cc marks you defended, /note cc text saves questions, /notes cc shows them, /my shows your spots.
Changing your spot
You can swap spots with someone (they confirm in the bot), give your spot to someone else, or leave the queue.
After your defence
Press "I've defended" and write what you were asked. Your note goes to everyone still waiting and stays on the site, on the defence page and the course page. Questions from the previous defence of the same course are shown next to each queue — "❓ Questions" in the bot.
On the day
The bot reminds you about 15 minutes before your class. "Now" and "next" appear only while the class is on; before that the queue is just a list.
Group work (Philosophy)
For group defences 1–3 people share a spot. Each team picks a topic, and topics must not repeat.
